New Games

Is it me or do new companies not make good games anymore ?

Perhaps I've outgrown the feeling, but it seems like games nowdays aim for profit and not gameplay.. with a few exceptions ofc like The Witcher 3 etc

Wht you think ?

All of you made good points. Rust seemed like a good game but I couldn't run it; and if anyone knows 'Dayz Standalone'.... omg that game was/is a disaster. The owner done made a profit and ran away to make a new game entirely

Right. I'm trying to distinguish if games are actually bad, or if I remember them being better.

I just don't want to fall into that trap thinking where you think things of the past are better than they are now.

For example.. old school music vs new music; you are probably aware of the comments made against new generations not appreciating older music etc.
