I think should wait till march because AMD are introducing bulldozer so it might be foolish to spent your cash now when you could potentially have a better system by waiting for a month .
Asking someone with £2500 to spend on a new PC to wait for a month is impossible!!

This is a nice spec but I would change the motherboard to an asrock p67 extreme 6.

Hmm..We've both linked I7 Builds, unless he wants the PC For Video/Image editing i would go for I5 2500k for cheaper and will give the same gaming benchmarks 
Its just to show whats possible at the max of 2.5K
the build before with just a single monitor but two GTX570 in SLI will eat anything.
And for gaming is i5 as good as i7? although i have £2.5k would rather not spend it all
the i5 is equal to the i7 for a gaming pc, the i7 only has hyper-threading which is useful for video editing etc.
And Crysis2 is out soon, GTX570 SLi maybe needed

my 5830 CAN play crysis 2 at max 1920x1080 with above 30fps
not like i've tried it, get what im not trying to or trying to get at without going on a holiday
