Hello there - Im looking at putting together a fairly powerful gaming PC - through a bit of research (and guesswork) I have cobbled together the following parts - if anyone could tell me if this looks decent enough and the best options for the price it would be much appreciated -

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,434.88 (includes delivery: £11.98)

I'll hopefully at some stage be getting a 5090 to complete it, when the decent ones at a reasonable price dont immediately sell out - I use a 120hz VRR LG OLED to game/pc on

At the moment Ive got a 5800x3d, MSI B550 and 5080 which Im planning on moving on to a lucky beneficiary (my daughter) - would the PC build above represent a decent uptick in performance or is it not worth the hassle?

Thanks a lot for any help!

You don't want a m2 drive with a heatsink as most motherboards come with one.

Nice motherboard but there are cheaper alternatives or could drop to the b850 Tomahawk.

Not sure about that pau I would read reviews

Depends how much you want to cut really, but there's a decent chunk of savings there. E.g.

In benchmarks, sure. In reality? That's harder to say. If you're whacking up the details at 1440p/4K in highly demanding games: absolutely. If you're playing on modest settings in not very demanding games, you may not even notice.
