Hi,

I do everything on my PC from gaming, video/audio editing, virtual machines. Here is the spec any suggestions would be appreciated.

Nvida 970 already got.

Water cooling CPU might be overkill but I hate the dust so it's a must.

Thanks

I would put these parts in instead of the ones you selected.

Also the motherboard bundle above makes more sense.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E500B/EU) £155.99
2 x Seagate Barracuda 4TB 5900RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST4000DM000) HDD £119.99 (£239.98)
1 x Corsair Hydro H105 240mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060016-WW ) £94.99
1 x EVGA SuperNova G2 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £94.99
Total : £595.55 (includes shipping : £8.00 Ex.VAT).

I can echo the opinions above - you're overspending on an average power supply, overspending on the SSD. Black hard drives are an anachronism now - built to install an O/S on before SSDs became mainstream; the performance is not worth the extra considering how quick ordinary 7200rpm drives are.

Also you may as well get the 'K' version of the CPU for future overclocking.

Is the Samsung EVO pro better than just the basic version though?

The pro version SSD's are geared more towards Server and high end workstation builds. The 850 pro has a 10 year warranty. The 840 pro is the older version and has 5 years warranty.

If you are just building a gaming pc with editing and vm then the Evo drives are better value for money. I doubt you would notice any real world performance difference.
