New Gaming Computer - Approx 2.3k Budget

Building my brother-in-law's computer earlier in the year has given me the upgrade itch, so now I'm looking to build a new machine for my own gaming setup at the end of November.
My budget is somewhere in the region of around £2000-2300... probably nearer the lower end of that.

At the moment, I play most of my games on a 3440x1440 screen so would be aiming to build a machine that can run most current games at a relatively stable 50-60 fps on that.

I have all the peripherals and I'm fairly certain that I have a new & unused 1000W Silverstone PSU somewhere about the house. I'll try dig out the exact model tonight so the more experienced builders on here can recommend whether to use it or buy something better.

Budget: £2000 - £2300

• Windows 10

• Games like Destiny 2, RDR 2, EUIV, PUBG, Skyrim, GTA5, Kingdom Come, X3 and Elite Dangerous.
• Programming.
• Music production.

Probably looking to get parts around the 22nd/23rd Nov, stock permitting. Any suggestions or changes that'd be worthwhile considering before then?

Managed to track down the PSU, it's a Silverstone Strider Platinum Series ST1000-PT.

Ordered the bits to hopefully be delivered this weekend as some of the parts were listed on OCUK's Black Friday offers.
Assumed I've made no glaring mistakes with the parts as there was no recommended changes from the more knowledgeable on here - though I did swap out the M.2 for that Rocket one that keeps getting mentioned.

Solid build to me. I'd get the rocket as you said, also I'd of got a slightly cheaper MOBO (possibly the Elite?) and maybe swap the CPU cooler for the Pro variety.

Love the case I want one myself.

Thanks, always want to double check that I'm not making any huge mistakes with something that won't work.

The Rocket was a no-brainer really, managed to catch the 2TB model on offer for £1 cheaper than Team Group's 1TB one.
True, probably could have downgraded the Aorus, I think I was swayed partly by the cosmetics and partly by the built in Type-C port and WiFi.
Was going to go for the Dark Rock Pro originally but it's been sold out every time I looked at it.

Same, fell in love with the P600S when I put together a machine for a friend and had it sat next to my Switch 810 for a week... it made me decide that I hated my old case and needed the P600S for myself.
