New gaming / general productivity PC

Been waiting for the release of the Ryzen 3000 series CPUs before making a final decision.

Was thinking of a 3700x/3800x/3900x build, but the cost of the X570 motherboards, active cooling, and performance in single threaded tasks such as gaming are making me lean more towards a i7 or i9 build...

With the current discounts on ocuk, the i9-9900k looks great value, coupled with a z390 aorus master mobo. The one thing I am finding challenging if I go for this is locating compatiable fast memory, with decent cas speeds around 4000hz...

Would the Team Group Xtreem 16gb PC3-33000C18 4133MHZ Dual Channel Kit work with this?

If so, seems like an amazing build for the money...

Thoughts?

Still debating 9700k vs 9900k, but leaning towards the 9900 based on the larger discounts available at present.

The only challenge seemed to be finding ram that would be compatible...

Waiting to see what the 3800x comes out as in gaming performance...

for CPU cooler I have a Alphacool 360LT, so no benefit from the ryzen stock cooler (and they dont seem to sell the Ryzen's as OEM at present)

Yeah looking for something I wont be changing for 4+ years, with exception of maybe a GPU upgrade in a year or so...

Current thinking is X390 Aorus Master + i9-9900k, but not sure what memory is going to work with that...

Would overclockers refund me if I purchased the Team Group Xstreem 16GB DDR PC-300000C18 4133MHZ and was not able to get the speeds up to that?

If so, with the great price OCUK have on the i9 9900K at present, seems like a no-brainer...

Currently running a 21:9 monitor, so res is 2560 x 1080. Its a 200hz monitor, so looking for well over that in cs:go, and high frame rates in most fps titles...

I must admit, I was only looking at the Team Group Xstreem was it was higher speed and greater discount from list price (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4133mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-099-tg.html)

Would the 3866mhz Pro edition be more likely to be compatable with the X390 Aorus Master motherboard do you think?

Don't want to purchase then have to look to see if I can return (also not sure what is OCUK's policy on this)

Both those packs are B-Die Samsung and have 8Pack logos on them...

Not sure if there is any fundamental difference between 'Pro' and 'Xtream' editions, however...
