New Gaming Headset

Need someone to spec me a new headset

I am not up to date on the latest headsets. My previous was a hyper x cloud 2.

The requirements are a good mic and good sound for music and games.

Budget is up to 150

Something by Sennheiser then I would imagine; otherwise, best choice would be headphones and separate microphone.

If you don't have a sound card, then Sennheiser PC373D can be had for £100 if you know where to look.

Which sound card? Also would something like a modmic or desktop XLR mic be OK?

Wait. I dont think i have a sound card. I would prefer a headset due to limited desk space

Do you have quiet or noisy environment?
If quiet then open ear cup design would be better starting point for improving sound quality.

As EsaT said, next important thing to consider is the environment you are using it in? Noisy you want closed back, quiet/home maybe consider open back?

Logitech G Pro, HyperX Cloud Flight or Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 are probably the best gaming headsets you can get under 150. That's just my opinion because I have used these headphones. Can't really recommend something which I haven't used.
