Hey guys, I'm looking at ordering a new gaming machine soon.

Wanted to run the spec past you to see if everything looks ok…THANKS!

I already have, keyboard, mouse, screens, OS and a second 250GB SATA drive.

Looks basically fine to me although I probably wouldn't bother with that Ram, PC6400 is more than sufficient and it would also save you about £80 or so. You need a CPU cooler if you don't already have one since that CPU is OEM. Finally why a black DVDRW with a white case?

Hello Thomss, your specification looks absolutely fine but as semi-pro waster has pointed out, 8500 RAM is slightly over the top and 6400 will be perfectly fine. You will also need a CPU cooler since you have chosen the OEM Q6600 as opposed to the Retail one which does come with a heat sink fan.

I have just done a specification for you to give you another idea on what you could get for around £900.

Looks good but personally I'd get an 8800GT or an 8800GTS G92.

Hey guys, that's just the kind of info I was looking for, sometimes you get so in to the specs, that you miss the little things! I'll have a look over the changes. hoping to order first week in to the new year - from OC. the reason I tohught I'd go for the GTX is the fact that I have a 24" Samsung, so on some games I'd like to be able to play at higher resolutions.
