New gaming monitor needed, but which one??

Hi guys,

I'm building a new system, a good one!
So I need a nice new monitor to accompany it, but I'm really struggling to choose, too many options out there. I need some advice.

So... Some details.
Budget = up to £600
Game style = Xcom2/ Fallout 4/ Dragon Age/ Witcher 3 / Elite Dangerous. Not really into COD anymore, so I'm thinking I need an IPS. Would you agree? Big screen, great colour/ visual experience.. Basically the cliche!
Also, my graphics card will be 980Ti, so I'm thinking G-sync compatible is appropriate, otherwise I'm ruling out a useful feature if I went with a FreeSync feature like Asus offer. So I'm thinking Asus models are out.

The new Acer 144hz IPS G-sync model sounds ideal http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-077-AC, but I'm hearing plenty of screen bleed/ dead pixel reports. Is this still the case?

Anything good with Dell?

Anyway, I'm after some advice and guidance, so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

I am very nitpicky so my 3 monitor list is what i would buy personally. And if not twitch gaming VA kills IPS especially glossy VA has some seriously inky blacks and contrast. It also has no IPS glow the only downside is viewing angles but that is over rated.

Acer Z35 interesting for Nvidia users due to potential 5120x2160p DSR
Eizo IPS 144hz Freesync interesting and no blur
Eizo FG2421 i personally own and reccomend this monitor due to Eizo no blur

To be honest no blur is so good, On anything else you spend resources rendering an image that falls on its arse when moving. So it is a complete waste of time i can watch GTA cars go by and without Eizo's blur i cannot see wheelrims in motion or writing on car doors. I would swap to AMD just to get this and Freesync maybe.

Thanks Roff, but I've already ordered system and I've got the 980Ti, so no choice there.

+ budget limit is £600.

Do I need to have a g-sync monitor if im running a 980Ti?
Just fix that opens up other brand options for me.

What do you think guys?

If you have a 980TI its deffo best to go for a GSync panel. I use the ASUS ROG Swift which is a nice monitor but there are new variants coming out soon
