New Gaming Mouse, need help! (For DOTA 2 mainly)

Hi all,

I've just bought this mouse:

I upgraded from something very similar (or possibly the same as) this:

My problem is, I find the Corsair mouse quite small, it doesn't fit my hand very well, it's also quite heavy due having a metal plate on the bottom...

The reason I bought it in the first place is because I play a lot of DOTA 2 and I thought the side buttons would be quite useful (which they are) but the software is not great and due to the fact it isn't that comfortable I'm thinking about sending it back...

My question was, does anyone have any recommendations for a good gaming (moba) type mouse?

I was looking at a Razer Naga or possibly Hex but I've heard mixed reviews on the hex which kind of put me off - thinking Razer due to form factor and the fact I was really comfortable with my old one...

Any help greatly appreciated!
 
With Razer your always going to get a great mouse

Are you looking for an MMO style mouse, with the use of more than 2 side buttons, or just 2 side buttons?

As MMO mice are quite bulky and can take a while to get used too, in some cases people may feel uncomfortable with the side panel of MMO buttons and may lead just not using the mouse at all, or seeking a refund.

Once again because the mouse has more functions the weight of the mouse will be more than that of a 2 buttoned mouse, if your looking for a light weight mouse I'd suggest possibly Zowie or Deathadder, as both are fairly light weight and have side buttons. usually a mouse with more features causes more headaches with drivers, and configuration.

Although with that Razer do have well structured drivers which are easy to use, the new Synapse 2.0 is awesome. Zowie is a "on the fly" mouse with DPI changing underneath and requires no drivers.

Are they on sale in the UK yet? I really want one as I love the naga and think the mechanical buttons will really help. Insta buy for me.
