Perfect for big old hands! Some give it a bad press on this forum but its been rock solid with me on latest firmware.
Also very cool looking in black.......

I've got the G9, although I'd prefer the new G9x, which I think is the same, except that they've removed that annoying side-ways wheel scroll (which I hate and have never used).

You're not alone - I too have been graced with massive hands.

I started out with a Copperhead when they were first released . Great mouse but it would leave left my hand cramped and sore after 3-4 hrs gaming. Switched to a Death Adder and haven't looked back since. It's comfortable to use over long periods of time and a better mouse, all round, imo.

G5/G7 user here, fits my hand like a glove, the weight pack thing on the G5 is a bit of a gimmick, but its such a smooth mouse to use.

The newer deathadder, a competitor has listed it for £7 or so more than the old one. I want to buy from ocuk coupled with a new cpu cooler but not sure when theyll get some in.

The general consensus is to buy the MX518

There really isn't a bad word to say about it so i'll have a look into the MX518!

I have been asking around friends too but i don't think i know anyone with that mouse

i am hoping to physically hold one before buying which is not as easy as it sounds

And typically i just missed a couple of £'s off too with a this week only deal

I would recommend the microsoft habu, a collaboration between microsoft and razer which resulted in a very responsive, functional and very comfortable gaming mouse. It is also quite large, however it is designed so as not to be cumbersome. I have had one for about a year, it's never missed a beat and its probably the most comfortable mouse I have used.

What are you going to use it for? FPS tend to only need 3-5 buttons whereas things like warcraft need as many buttons as they can fit on.

Why? With the latest firmware and a hard mouse matt its aces!!! Best mouse i have ever had.

Had a G7 (which was my favourite mouse until it broke)
Replaced by a G9 (thanks Logitech Support!)
Also got a MX518 for use with my laptop.

Personally I think the G9 is overrated (i've never really got used to the shape either) and I find the MX518 better to use. At a much cheaper price you can't go wrong with it either.
