Hey people of OC!

After much frustration i have come to the conclusion that i totally despise my razer DA Lefty. i just can't grip it for the life of me without it slipping out of my hand 50% of the time!

So if there's anything out there around a mid-range budget or so I'd like to hear from ya. I've only ever used an ambi dell mouse (which died) and the DA on a perma basis, however i tried the zowie AM (which was great), but a little too small (also was a friends too) ;(

Steelseries Sensei any good?

Thanks, Mike.

What type of games do you play?

Steelseries Sensei is a really good mouse and a decent shape. If want a bit smaller go for the Kana.

i actually went for what you told me about. i hope it does the job considering i only have two cloth pads and no hard mats. i remember a fantastic deal on the zowie fk here, but it ended before i could go for it. was very tempted by it, yet it might have been a little too small! If only zowie accommodated for the stereotypical guitarists hand i.e. big palm + long / large fingers ;) TT Azures was another option, but that's a little hard to get hold of sometimes and didn't wanna risk import (since that's all i could find at the time)... Cheers for the help anyway. it's strange how i'm a righty, but game as a lefty. Nevertheless... i like it

Final choice would have been the steelseries modded Microsoft WMO, but the DPI on that is pretty limited, therefore not so brill for modern games on higher res.

P.S. i mainly play FPS games, but still do the odd MMORPG and strategy style game :)

highly recommend the G400 or G500

Most mice you need to get the feel for though so if possible try and demo some.

I'm in a similar situation, there are so many mice around at the moment. I currently have a Razer Naga and it works absolutely fine, just fancy a change and want one that fits with my new red theme. If you do come to make a decision on it, let me know as I'd be interested to see what you went with.

Was looking at the Molten Edition but thought I'd look around to see of there was anything else that took my fancy and got rave reviews.

I sometimes use a Roccat Kova[+] at work.
It's ambi and has a strangely low profile, but fits larger hands quite nicely. Customisable buttons, various lighting, multiple profiles and reasonable DPI.
Just disable the buttons on your offside, or your spare fingers may catch them, which gets annoying...

cheers for all the added replies guys. i got the sensei raw. fantastic mouse, but there's only one problem: it's still a bit hard to grip! how are the mionix mice for size? i'm looking at the avior 7000 since that seems to be their latest ambi and it looks pretty promising. i'd love to go for logitech, but their ambi / lefty mice are pretty limited! ;(

one more thing. i am more of a palm gripper, but (when picturing it this way, from left to right on my left hand, pinky being 1 and thumb being 5) i use 2 and 5 to maintain a grip, which is why most skinny mice don't do the job and it's also why i can't get a decent grip on 2 with the DA. If i can do this with the mionix then that'd be pleasing!

The Mionix Naos is a plam gripper. I have it and it's very good. Also thinking of trying the Avior unless their concept wireless mouse hits soonish
