New Gaming Mouse!

I'm looking into getting a new mouse for my new Skylake gaming system I'm about to build. Currently been using a Logitech MX Performance which has nice ergonomics but the weighting is unbalanced, the scroll wheel wobbles and its wireless which I've found has gotten annoying having to charge it all the time. I'm looking at the new Razer Mamba Tournament Edition. Anyone have any views on this?

As a previous death adder and copperhead owner i had issues with both (double clicking issue) to the point that the copperhead was unbearable and had to pop it open to put an extra cushion for it to work a bit better. I tried the logitech g502 and i am amazed.i bought it both for home and work brilliant mouse and i really love the button that lets you lower for a moment the sensitivity for that extra sniper precision and then back to your high dpi settings. Tried its 12k dpi and honestly i dont think i will ever use it so high though even for 4k its overkill

the sniper button is a little too easy to click but I think that's just a carryover from the way I got used to holding the Deathadder over several years, I'm sure I will adapt.

Yeah that's my only gripe with the G402/502, I can't imagine that button is used for 99% of people (it's extremely pointless) yet it gets in the way of how I (and I imagine most people) grip the mouse!

I'm sort of the same situation myself. Used MX518, then a G400. I can't find anything to replace the G400 with - whatever I look at has mice seemingly smothered with buttons. Maybe I should just look at normal mice rather than gaming mice, if all I want is the basic buttons, scroll wheel and internet back/forward buttons. :o

I guess it may be pointless since the effect isn't much but could you put something underneath the button to prevent it being pressed? Or is it just that the button is there that ruins the feel of the mouse?

The button sticks out a fair bit, but yeah for me atleast, my thumb would be resting on it slightly, meaning I have to arch my thumb which isn't ideal but still works ok.

I have a Razer deathadder and I love it. Recently bought one of the ozone neons that ocuk had on daily deal just in case it ever gives out but it's been solid since day 1 and is very comfortable for me.

I've used exclusively Razer mice for probably 13-14 years, and I do like them, however they don't last at all well and are expensive. Think I'm gonna try something else when this one breaks (and it will).

good suggestions throughout guys, thanks :) i believe i'm going to grab myself a G502 (stick to a comfortable feel i think) though i still am tempted by the 600M in Orange :D, might have to get one for work aswell, just won't tell the wife 8-)

Sorry to hijack but I'm also interested in getting a new mouse.
I've had the Deathadder and currently use the G700 (I liked the sensor on the Deathadder more), but I've found that although they are both just ok, my grip is a mix between palm and claw.
I found that the Deathadder is too much palm whereas the G700 is too much grip.
I have quite large hands so the G700 is too small to grip and I find that my thumb grips the front bottom part of the mouse where it sticks out, rather than the indent.

So is there any mouse which is sort of similar to the G700, but 1-2cm wider or where the thumb sits, is a slight outward curve rather than inwards?
I think that's what I feel my hand is gripping like anyway.
