New gaming pc 1440p 2k budget

Hiya,

Can somebdy spec me a gaming desktop for £2k please, i already have monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset etc. My main requirement is it runs all games at 1440p at 60fps.

PS I would prefer to go skylake and 980ti if possible thanks.

Hi

If you want Skylake then something like this would be a good start. You could drop down to an i5 6600K if you are not doing anything demanding like Video Editing/Rendering or Streaming (Twitch) etc.

You probably won't get a solid 60fps on every game unless you drop some settings. Crysis 3 for example is a very demanding game.
There is still room for a 2nd GTX 980 ti though if you want to SLI now or later on.


Not sure if you want a specific colour scheme ? The one below is Black/White.

The H440 doesn't have an optical drive bay, so if you need Windows you can either go for the USB version, or go with an external drive (or choose a different case altogether).

Yes you can fit 2 x 980 ti's in it. The Phanteks Enthoo Pro is also a very good case for the same price.
