Hey All,

So I've decided to make the plunge and build a new PC. One because I want too and two because I would like to be able to enjoy single player games at peak graphic settings for more enjoyment. I have watched a tonne of videos and done a fair amount of research but I'm unsure on RAM. Firstly, the motherboard I'll be going with is a MSI Mag X870 Tomahawk Wifi with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Should I go for 6000mhz CAS30 (30-36-36-76 CAS Latency) RAM or would 6400mhz with C32 be better? (Memory Latency CL 32-40-40-84) I don't really understand the timings part of RAM, to me more speed would be better but any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Go for 6000mhz C30 which is optimal for AM5 In gaming above that MHz the CPU memory ratio changes from 1:1 to 2:1 making it slightly slower but wee talking minuscule differences.
