Hi there

I am building a gaming rig for a mate. With all the new kit, I thought I better check compatibility on here. It’s a gaming pc and he wants to game in 4K. No monitor bought yet.
He wants a quiet pc also and the budget is just North of 2k.

So far I have this spec:

Corsair 5000D Airflow
Corsair ML140 Pro fans x3
Noctua NH-U12A chromax
Intel Core i7 13700F
ASUS TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WiFi
32GB Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-25600 (3200)
Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 2TB
Sapphire RX 7900 XT Gaming
Corsair HX1000i

Thanks

Thanks for your help. I would prefer to stick with air as they are so quiet and less hassle as he lives a long way from me.
Case, i want a mesh front to keep good airflow so i can run the fans slower.
I read that the bump in price for a DDR5 system isnt work it for gaming, do you think its work jumping up?
The MSI Mag looks great. Do we know if it has 0% fan speed at low draw?

P600S has panels that can be removed to switch between silence or airflow.

Depends how much extra you're paying, but no, unlikely to be worth it, especially at 4K.

In the THG review it appears to have, yes, though I'd be more worried about buzzing and coil whine with a PSU than the fan noise at low loads.

I would say it depends on the CPU you choose, the GPU doesn't care about the ram you choose:) As long as it all works with your motherboard you should be fine.
