Im looking for my first gaming PC in over 15 years. In the past 15 years I have been using an mac and it is now on its last legs. Prior to this I had a PC and did a bit of gaming on it, then slipped into consoles. Im looking for a decent spec that will cope with playing the latest titles without breaking the bank. I also want it to last. I need to factor in a monitor preferably 27" keyboard and mouse. I have been browsing for weeks and i just cant come to a decision. I have considered building it myself to save ££, but i'll also consider a pre built/pre build.

Can i have your thoughts please?

This is a 1440p build. The graphics card will need upgrading somewhere between 3-5 years, depending on your expectations.

The CPU will likely need upgrading after that, depending on the graphics card you pick, perhaps to whatever the equivalent of a 9800X3D is.

Depending on the kind of games you play, getting 48GB or 64GB now could be a good investment, especially since current DDR5 PCs aren't keen on running 4 sticks.

Monitors and keyboards aren't my thing.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,386.82 (includes delivery: £15.99)

I'd save a fair whack of Dosh and get a 7600 +b650, the performance wouldn't be too far behind a 9700x
With that, could get a much better gpu instead.
