New Gaming Rig ~£1500

Ok guys,

My old PC of 5 years went bang last night, replaced the PSU but still no joy, therefore I thought it was about time to fully upgrade!

I usually build my own PCs but i've spotted that OcuK do the Titan Edge (and I must admint to getting lazy in my old age, so I'll let someone else do the setup!) so ive chosen the following options:-

Obviously this includes a 22" Screen, keyboard and mouse as well.

The system will be used 90% as a gaming rig. So what do you think? Any improvements or any unneccesary items that will make it a bit cheaper and not affect performance? Or any alternative specs for the same money?

does it have to be prebuilt?

Yeah, i really cannot be bothered with the hassle of building a new system right now. I've done it in the past with no issues, but I just want a replacement for my dead system and have someone do the work of putting it together and installing the o/s.

I'm sure OcUK will do a custom build if you ask them nicely

Tried spec'ing a custom machine and asked them if they would do the build, no go on that front as they said they only deal with the machines spec'd on the website. Nevermind, guess I will have to buy the components and do it myself again if I find some time.

Ok, thanks for all the input so far - I think i am coming round to the idea of building my own again. As for SLI, I think I will drop that in favour of the single good gfx card. Therefore spec now stands at the following:-
