ok heres the deal, i have £650 to spend, i want a gaming rig, that'll last about 5yrs, and will not be overclocked at this present moment, and will run @ 1280x1024 (max res of monitior). i don't need keyboard, mouse or speakers, and i'm quite happy about on-board sound as i mainly use my headphones, but can i get quotes on the best possible rig's u guys can muster, 1 with OS and optical drive and 1 without OS and optical drive. thnx guys

can this be a prediction for the 22nd as i will want to order 1st thing monday morning.

Won't last you 5 years. You'd need a massive budget for that, and even then it will be struggling like a mad think to keep up.

will i need a floppy drive?
if you are using xp, maybe, if you are using vista, no. (you might need it to install sata drivers, but vista allows you to do it off a memory stick/cd). if your old pc has 1 dont bother buying a new 1 just use the one off your old pc IF u need it
