Hi everyone. I know this is definitely the place to ask because I'll make a balls of it myself.

I'm building a new gaming rig and I already have some new and salvageable parts, and I need a little help on what I should order.

Here's what I have:

- Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (I have 8GB of this, so 4 sticks total)
- MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III OC (new)
- OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB SSD (new)
- 500GB hard drive (1 year old)

I have a 600W power supply, but I want to get a higher wattage PSU so that I can go crossfire in the future if I need to.

I do not need an OS, monitor, mouse/keyboard and optical drive.

My budget its £600, but I can go slightly higher if needed.

Thanks!

Looks good to me too. i would spend more on the psu and cpu cooler though , that is just me.

Sell your other ram and just use the 2x4gb. The cooler should be good enough for a 4-4.2Ghz OC. But your budget will allow for a better cooler should you think you need it, if you are looking to OC to about 4.5Ghz.
The mobo will allow you to go xfire.
The Psu is more than adequate for his future needs, xfire.

I've ordered that spec. Thanks for your help.

I'll have to order Windows 7 too. Just found out that my subscription with Microsoft Dreamspark through my uni is expired. :(

Sorry to hear about that man, Enjoy your pc!

Yeah, I think I'll just use the Windows 8 dev preview or Windows 7 with no key for a while.

The subscription will be renewed when I start back up at university anyway.

Makes sense. You have 30 days in which to register Win7, so you should be back to Uni by then.
Good luck with the upgrades.:D
