As title suggests, I'm putting together a new rig and want some brain storming put together. I already own 2 SSD's and a 1TB HDD which is why they aren't included.

Specs are as follows:

Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz
Carbide 600C Full Tower Inverse Gaming Case

Hydro H105 240mm Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Core i5-6600K 3.9GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor

CS650M 650W Semi-Modular 80+ GOLD Certified Power Supply

Z170 Pro Gaming Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard

GeForce GTX 980Ti X4 Air Boss Ultra 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Would this be a good combo? Anything anyone would change to save money or to improve it for slightly more? Any deals or offers?

I'm aiming to be able to play everything maxed out for the next few years to come although I know how these things go it will out of date next month probs haha!

Thanks!

Hi

I would suggest a better power supply. The Corsair CS isn't the worst, but for a few quid more you can get the EVGA G2 Supernova 650W which is a far better unit. Review in the link below.

There are also a couple of i5 6600K bundles which work out a bit cheaper.

Kingston 2400MHz kit is also cheaper. Don't think you will notice any difference between 2400MHz and 3000MHz.
