New gen laptop graphics cards

With all the hype around the next gen nvidia and amd desktop gfx cards, does anyone know of we are due a new set of mobile chips anytime in the near future?

SUPER only came out a few months ago for laptops, so I suspect we might be waiting a little while. With the power increases mooted for the new cards also, I wonder if we will see much actual performance gain with the more power/heat limited laptop variants.

I would expect to see rtx 3000 series cards in laptop announced at CES in January. Im hoping to get a desktop replacement laptop around March or April next year with a rtx 3080.
