New GF card - no need to reinstall Forceware?

Might be going from a 7800GTX to a 7900GTX. Am I right in thinking I don't need to clean and reinstall the forceware? It should just detect the new card right? (am on latest FW)
 
It should just work plugging it in.
It should pick the new card up if youve got the latest drivers.
But like ultim said, it doesn't take that long anyway.

Im not sure about Nvidia, but with ATi, should you insert a new video card then a reinstall of drivers in necessary :)
