Right, my current card is on the blink. I'm thinking of RMA'ing it, but I can't be without a gfx card for as long as it'd take XFX to deal with it. Its a 7900GT.

So, I'm thinking its time to upgrade the card. My Rig Currently is an E6600, a BFG 680i mobo, 2GB Team Extreme 6400, a Tagan 530W PSU (may well upgrade also) all in an Antec P180 case. running XP. I'm not ready to upgrade to vista, as I really can't be bothered with all this hassle just yet :D

My main gaming is WoW, but I've been really thinking of buying Supreme Commander just recently.

I Have a 19" TFT monitor which currently runs I THINK (not at home so can't check) at the 1280x1024 mark, but that again is something I wish to upgrade when I have the money to do.

I'm looking at anything in the £150-250 mark, so advice welcome. I also wish to look at going SLI at some point in the future.

Cheers.

Easy - 8800 GTS 320MB. Job done.

Yes, your PSU will handle it.
Yes, your case is big enough.
Yes, you will notice the difference from your card in terms of IQ and fps.
No point in SLi, unless your screen doubles in size and quadruples in pixels.

:D

Just to confirm for you that a 19" tft monitor will either be 1280x1024 maximum resolution or 1440x900 if it is a widescreen model.

melbourne720 is right, there isn't really any other graphics card worth getting for that sort of money than an 8800GTS. :)
