Hi,

I just got an R9 270 and have plugged it into PCI-E slot 1 and I have connected the power cable. I was using the HD4000 on the CPU, Init Display First was set to Auto but i have set this to PEG (PCIEX16 slot). When i boot the PC, the Radeon powers up and the fans come on, and i can hear Windows boot, but there's no display output. If i take the DVI cable and plug it back into the motherboard DVI output, there's still no output. If i power down, disconnect the Radeon's power and leave the motherboard DVI ouput connected and start up the display is back (but from the HD4000 obviously).

Am i missing something stupid, do i need to completely disable the HD4000 by setting Internal Graphics to Disabled in the BIOS?

Thanks

I'm a bit stuck to be honest. If the Radeon is powered up there is no output from either the motherboard output or the Radeon.

If i disconnect the Radeon power then the motherboard output comes back, BUT, when i go into the BIOS and set Init Display First from Auto to PEG the system reboots but when i go back into the BIOS its set to Auto again.

I don't know how i can disable the HD4000 if i can't get into the BIOS with the Radeon powered up as it turns it back to Auto on its own (i guess because it doesn't detect anything in PCIE16?

Thanks
