Right basicly my card has gone for RMA to HIS who are taking a life time in sending it back.............OCUK been great.

Im without my good pc which plays all my games, has all my programs on, and college programs...........so im on a 1.6 P4 with a 5200 at the moment(yay me).

Baiscly shall i just wait it out for HIS to send me back a new card or just get a 8800 GTS ???

Then theres another problem i only have 1 gig of ram in my setup so if i get a 8800 GTS will my 1 gig of ram hold back 8800 GTS and my core 2 duo E6600 ???

Shall i just get more ram and wait it out or just get a 8800 GTS ???

Im ganna email OCUK next week see how long to send my card back.

I dont really wanna spend any money since im saving up for a car and the insureance but it looks like HIS poor customer service are going to make me spend some money..........................last time i buy a HIS card shame really i really liked my X1900 GT when it worked............BFG or evga for me now

A graphics upgrade isn't really needed at that resolution, and will only give you a few more fps in games whereas an extra 1GB of RAM will allow you to play on highest settings on game such as Oblivion, BF2, Quake 4 and Vista will love you for it.

I would love more ram ............... just need a gfx to run it now.........last time i get a card from HIS :(
 
If you want to not waste money, wait it out.

and by the way HIS are normally extremely good.

there cards are great........great performance...........but im not to happy with there support.

they took over 2 weeks to reply to me and they told me to RMA back to OCUK by that time ocuk had already tested it and sent it to his for a replacement.

Shame really i loved my X1900 GT before it was faulty.
 
i wanna get supreme commander once i have my graphics card back and ive heard this game loves ram the more you have the better the gameplay will be.

nice, supreme commander really needs a power house of a system to play it smoothly.

Ill wait a few more weeks if HIS are still taking ages im just ganna get the 8800 GTS then get more ram when i sell the replacement card.
 
do you guys think HIS will give me a refund if i ask for one or just a replacement ???? i asked OCUK they said they cant since its past the 28 period.
 
They'll just send you a replacement unless you go and kick up a royal truck load of fuss.

hahaha i think i need a phone number they never reply to my emails lol........i found one number but its based in hong kong :eek:
