Hi guys,

I currently have an 8400GS Nvidia graphics card in my pc, but later on I'll be having an Ati 4850.

I don't have any drivers installed for the 8400GS as Windows 7 already seems to have them, so I'll have nothing to uninstall?

Will I need to run drivercleaner and remove all Nvidia settings/files before I install my 4850?

Cheers

First of all, although windows *seems* to have the drivers for the card, they are only generic drivers, and will not give ou the best gaming performance.

If you say you havent installed any Nvidia software (check in the add remove control panel) just put the new ATI card in, and download the latest drivers from the ATI webiste.

Job done.

Have a look in the control panel add / remove program's there may be a title program title Nvidia which houses all the drivers for the board, click this and hopefully it should show the drivers and one may be the onboard gpu.
This is what my parents pc showed when installing a external gpu.
