New GFX Card

not true i believe if you look in one of the threads in this forum you find links to mods that allow you to use a nv card as a physx card with your ati card as primary graphic card.
 
You can't use PhysX on ATI cards, only hardware PhysX via the CPU, not that it does anything except lower your fps.

Yes I realise that what I meant was does the use of PhysX in games still give Nvidia a considerable advantage or is the difference negligible when using a CPU like the i7?
 
Still hard to tell if they've actually got something up their sleeves or are trying to put off the AMD buyers until they can offer a similar product at the same price.

The only reason I tend to go Nvidia is because it has PhysX, as long as it as good as the AMD eqiv without the PhysX then its just a bonus. Not sure howmany games are still using PhysX but I may start to consider AMD more in the future, wheras I never even looked at them before.
