new gfx help please

Hi guys, I currently have a 6970 with 8GB of ram and a 2500k which is currently clocked at 4.4. I have some spare cash and wanted to spend it on my rig. I just dont no what to go with. I have always been ATI and dont no if it's worth going for nvidia and the games or going for a290 pro card and staying with what i no.

I have 400£ to fund my new purchase but is physx worth me buying a 780? And I also have a ocz 750 watt psu.

I have read a bit about mantle. Would this be worth it to stay with amd?

so hard to choose but I need something to last a couple of years
