New GFX installed; now won't boot properly.

Hi everyone,

So as it pretty much says in the title, I bought a new GTX 750 Ti and put it in, but now Windows won't boot, it just freezes at the Windows logo.

Any ideas?

Were you using on board graphics before? Did you uninstall the on board drivers before you put in the new card?

No, I had a 6870 before. I did forget to uninstall them, but then I remembered and managed to get a clean boot and uninstall and install the Nvidia graphics.

Now I only seem only to be able to boot in Safe Mode.

I did try a reinstall of Windows.

So you have now installed a fresh install of windows, and you have the same problem?

Do you have another computer you can test the card in?

Remove the Nvidia drivers, download and run ddu. Reinstalled Nvidia drivers.
