New gpu and cpu?

I have an old GTX 750 ti and an intel core i5 4670 3.40 ghz running on a 300w power supply that struggles to run most high end games above 60 fps at ultra high settings.

Should I get a new gpu or cpu? Or both? I would like to run games like butter without having to make them look crap. (Also just speeding up the desktop in general) I've only got 4 Gb of RAM, should I get more? I'm on a regular 60 hz 1080p monitor with a £500 budget.

If I could just launch a game way faster at much higher setting with no fps drop, that would be nice.

Thanks.

Thank you. Sadly I no longer have access to the original £500 budget so I dont think I will be able to change the cpu or psu but I would like some advice on upgrading the 750 ti to a 1050 ti and should I get more RAM, I only have 4 GB currently installed. Would 16 GB make any difference in fps?

"A faster CPU will increase framerate, though not as much as an improved graphics card, and more RAM will allow your computer to manage your operating system and applications more effectively."

Will a 1050 run off 300w? Its just I dont want to spend an extra 80 quid on something that my current 20 quid psu can do, but would you recommend any? Wattage?
