So today i get home from work and my second 8800GTX has finally died, the first one developed bad ram, the second one here is throwing out the pink screen of death before failing, i thought at first it maybe the VGA cable, as it seemed to go away when playing with it, but when i launched the benchmark program it became all bad news.

I notice that nearly every card on OcUK is on preorder, i need a replacement card ASAP as i cannot game on my laptop etc,

I was thinking about getting a mid range one for now as i was going to update, but i figure hey, if i get a decent mid to high range now i wont need to pay out again later,

In a nut shell what is a good card that i can order now so its here for the weekend, i have always ran Nvidia, but if an ATI card is going to give equal or better preformance, id happily change over, keeping in mind i was running 8800GTX's.

£200-350,

If the card is capable and future proof for the 120Hz monitors that are heading our way, id be happy to push it to £400.

Thanks guys.

Which one would be better, both these 8800's where XFX so im warely about them now.

Does this card do better or preform better etc, i know its £100 more, but if its worth it id order it.

Thanks
