New GPU doesnt work

Hello my VTX 7870 arrived today and after plugging it in to my pc i turned my pc on to find that the card doesnt display a signal, the fan spins but it doesnt display anything, the PSU i have is the OCZ 500W Stealth2Extreme so i dont have 2 lots of 6 pins, only 1 lot.

Anyone know if its the PSU that is the problem? my previous card was a 6850

my PSU only has one 5 pin PCI-E plug, so iv got nothing to stick in the other slot

the card came with the actual card, a disc, a tiny black adaptor thing in which doesnt go into the 6 pin slot and a instructions booklet, that was it

Are molex's reliable or am i just better of buying a new PSU

which adapter should i get from overclockers, when i search for molex a tonne of them come up

will those work with my PSU though? its the OCZ Stealth2Extreme 500W

Does your PSU have two molex connectors coming from the PSU? Yes it does. So yes it will.

The StealthXstream 2 is just about up to the task, it will be fine.

i know that now, someone actually recommended it me on this forum without telling me i couldnt run it -_-
