Do you have the 6 GB RTX 3050 or the 8 GB RTX 3050? Game-wise I'm not sure you're going to see a significant benefit from the move:

This video may also help, apart from AI:

Someone knowledgeable about AI will be along shortly.

However, I would hold fire for a couple of days because the Arc B770 may just - finally - be released at CES.

realistically if you want to do AI stuff then you're better off getting the latest gen gpus (nvidia 50 series or amd 90 series)
for now, nvidia have better support but the hardware is comparatively more expensive, so pick your poison
a gpu with 16gb or more vram is recommended

The Arc B50 and B60 GPUs have double the VRAM of the gaming cards (so 24 GB for the B60) and you can get double cards - two B60s in one slot - as long as your PC supports PCIe Bifurcation. The Maxsun dual B60 is a snip at $1200.

I'm not that familiar with AI but I do know the LLM stuff really needs as much vram as you can throw at it. The Arc B60 would be worth taking a look at or something like a 5960Ti 16Gb
