wasn't aware of a 2GB 780

780s are an incredible card and for the current money are brilliant. Worlds apart from your 5850 :D enjoy

With the recent reduction in price and the free games to sweeten the taste, the 780 is a considerably better option now than it was before. Looks like you've made a good choice. :)
 
What's your budget and what resolution are you gaming at?

That Inno3D 770 isnt far off GTX780 pricing so to me would seem a silly choice. Would you consider AMD? Might want to wait for the R9 290 which will be around tht price. If gaming at 1440p or more I'd want more than 2GB VRAM especially when paying > £300.
 
1900x1200 1 monitor at the moment due to space. Been a 1 monitor system since day 1 so prob won't ever go to 2, like eye candy and don't wanna be upgrading in another year, the 5850 has lasted me a few years and running with an i7 3770k and 4.4ghtz with 16gb ram, windows 7 ultimate.

Also have no issues with AMD. What Evers the best value, going to last.

Budget is £250
