Hi all,

I recently upgraded my PC but left the graphics card awaiting some more budget. I'm wondering if NOW is the best time or if I should wait out the next couple of months/weeks.

I currently have no clue as to what's out there and what would fit snugly with my current setup and get my PC ready for the next few years.

It's currently running on:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Eight Core 4.4GHz (Socket AM4)
Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C17 3600MHz
WD Black SN750 1TB NVMe
Seasonic Core Gold GC-650 650W 80+
Arctic Freezer 34 eSports 120mm CPU Cooler
Zalman i3 Midi-Tower Case

Any feedback is greatly appreciated

What resolution is your monitor and how much do you want to spend?
You've got a good system there.
As above new nvidia cards launching soon. The RTX 3070 launching October 15th and priced at £469 would be a good match for your sytem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was considering a budget of up to £500 currently. Less for more is always good of course ^^

Upgrading my monitor would be the next step. Currently using a Samsung SA350 from 2012 at 1920x1080.

No sense to buy expensive GPU until after that ancient small low resolution monitor has been replaced.

27" 2560x1440 has been the sweet spot for years.

With wide gamut monitors starting from 10% more.

I'd normally say try and get a monitor upgrade first, but considering it's likely the 30 series is going to be very tight to stock I'd personally try and grab one of those ASAP and worry about a monitor later.
