My 5 year old RTX3090 quit working yesterday so i am looking to replace it soon. I have been looking at the 5070Ti 16gb as my funds are tight with a MAX BUDGET of £775 and no higher. Which one would you recommend i get for that price.

Thanks in advance.

Prices have started increasing today for some 5070 Ti's, the ASUS prime went from £700 to £750 and the Gigabyte went up an additional £29 to £729 on OcUK today.

I'd pick one of those cards personally, even though that increase today will sting a bit.

If you're lucky a 2nd hand 5080 otherwise

5070Ti it is or 9070XT if you're willing to give AMD a chance and save some coin.

Well if you believe any of this then get what you can now!

Nvidia· AMD will significantly increase GPU prices from next month

9070xt would be the better bang for buck. The difference is negligible RT is good on the 9070xt but better on the 5070ti. The old AMD drivers issues are antiquated beliefs and im fact this generation the drivers have been much better than nvidias.

I've always been nvidia until last year, I changed over and its a smashing card. I went for the taichi version.

Did you try to get the EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 repaired ? as they sadly have known issues and do fail but can be fixed. @Vince in our forums maybe able to help you repair it. His repair thread here :- https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/vinces-repair-thread-console-repairs-mods.18940033/

Also maybe worth watching this Youtube channel as he has done a lot of EVGA repairs :- https://www.youtube.com/@northwestrepair

RTX5090 is now $4000usd in USA

I am going to have to save up for a new card anyway. I don't want credit so if the card prices are going up next month i will just have to save up even more.
