So I seem to have a bit of a problem...

I swapped out my HD6950 for a GTX960 a couple of days ago. I ran a driver wiper first and completely stripped down my system to give it all a good clean before reassembling, adding another rad in to my cooling loop and swapping the GPU.

Ever since it's hung for a good 20-30 seconds on this screen as it boots up -

I've tried clearing the cmos, checked the bios is up to date, done it with an without my OC, every combination of ram sticks possible, triple checked every cable, monitored temps, with and without USB devices etc but nothing works.

Once Windows eventually loads everything seems to work fine, it just takes ages to get there.

I've got a Gigabyte 990FXA UD-3, FX8320, 16GB Kingston HyperX and an MSI 960 powered by a Corsair HX620 (which is old but still rock solid)

Any ideas?

Do you clear cmos with the psu unplugged ? could try leaving the battery out for a while.Try differnt psu cables and try molex adapter to gpu power also if havent.

Try looking for legacy devices in the BIOS and enable or disable it,can't remember exactly but pretty sure its that

If you have onboard graphics set it to use the GPU or disable onboard

Disabled legacy USB support and it's booted straight up - thanks! :)

Bit odd that a new GPU would cause that but never mind!
