new gpu Q? again!

tried and failed with several gpu upgrades (last was a 280x that got DSR due to a drone on the fan) so been suffering in silence with a 5770 for far too long!

was looking at this

pretty sure the old psu (tx650) will be fine and it should fit in my case but just wondering if for the ££'s is there anything 'better' to be looking at?

edit: d'oh - could have swore I'd posted this in the gpu forum! - worth noting maybe that I've always been an amd man but open to the 'dark' side. just really need a new gpu to play R6 and The Division!

lol, yea I'm not anywhere near trying for 4K yet - still rocking an i5 750 system from about 5 years ago - but that will be getting upgraded in a month or 2. just the 5 year old gpu is holding everything I play back something shocking!

If you're looking at 380 series cards, OcUK seem to have them on offer every 2 weeks - this week being an "off" week. On Wednesday, they should have some reductions. Last week I paid £156 for my Sapphire 380 (non X). This week it's 180.

oh nice spot - I'm not stuck on the 380 series - more it just fits best within my sort of budget. always been a round about the 200 quid mark gpu buyer!
