New GPU, strange scratches on side

Just bought a Sapphire R9 270X and looking at the side, it looks scratched and the fins slightly bent ? What impact if any will it make. Or should i just send it back and get another ?

I would not think it would make much of a difference in cooling performance, however if I recieved a new card like that I would be tempted to send it back incase it's taken any less visible damage by being knocked around in the factory etc.

Not sure if they'd return it, you could always return it under DSR. I highly doubt it'd do any problems to cooling just like radiator fins.

It is understandable though, you buy something new you expect it to be in mint condition.

Exactly, you buy a new item, you expect it to be 100%. Maybe i should see if i can get a GTX 760 as a replacement

I have had to RMA a GPU under DSR before and I had no problems at all, bailey is really helpful.

Just an update but they approved the RMA and its going back in tomorrow. We shall what happens then
