If you want Nvidia then you really should wait to see if they respond to the 290X launched today. I'd be surprised if they don't cut prices on the 770/780/TITAN.

If/when they do the 770 could be in your price range.

yes i was thinking that but i did have a look at some of the 760GTX cards, i have a gainward gtx460 golden sample 1gb already but its died on me and gainward are being awkward about it
