Hi,

Thinking of getting another gfx card to CF with my 5870.

Now the question is do I see if can get my hands on another 5870 or any advice on what card to get for the CF purpose.

Any help greatly appreciated

What res do you play at and whats your budget? I would hold out getting a second 5870. Yea you'll get performance increase but with only 1gig of vram it will struggle. Its also 2gens old already, i would aim for a 7 series.

Really? I saw 1.6gb with my 570 :confused:

Considering the price of a second hand 5870, it's the better value for money option

Yea thats from reading presisionx tool. Was only looking at the numbers randomly so it might be higher. Only had the card 2 days and been on 3 12hr shifts on a row:mad:
