New GPU to replace Radeon HD6800?

Is it worth upgrading my Radeon HD6800? Can I get a noticable performance boost in the £100-150 range? To be paired with an icore 5. Cheers!

770 will give a huge boost over the 6870.

That's not a bad price for a what's effectively a re badged GTX680 which started life at the £400+ mark.

That's a good point. I was gutted to find Nvidia had derped my Titan Blacks when Witcher 3 came out.

770 is only last generation, they will still be good for a year or 2 yet. You could also go with an r9 280 or 270

i havent looked at benchmarks but if its only 10-15% better than 950/960 id take the new

lol drivers are fine and the 770 is faster than an overclocked 960. Great cooler on the msi as well.

GFE, who cares. It's all about the performance.

770 is a great choice, and the drivers are fine. Definitely not derped like suggested above.

If you look at the latest TPU review, the R9 380 is actually a tad faster than a GTX770 now:

This is not generally surprisingly if you even compare it to even the older AMD Tahiti based cards.
