My current GPU is VTX3D HD 7870 Black Boost Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (no longer sold by Overclockers)

I'd like to upgrade to a nvidia, and looking to spend around £300-400.

Any recommendations?

Check it fits in the case as it looks rather long in that picture. Also if you only have a single fan in your case add another atleast.

Many thanks, i'll check to see if it fits and do some background reading of it.

I've got a bunch of case fans, I just didn't add them to the spec.
 
Suppose to be a hand picked chip so has a higher clock speed again and hopefully the ability to go much higher still if you overclock it.
 
Does anybody know if it will fit the shinobi case which is;
Dimensions: 205 x 460 x 490mm

I cannot seem to find any sizes for that card (or I'm just totally missing it on the store page)
