New GPU won't boot

I have this motherboard/cpu combo for my daughter https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-...-d1-ddr3-micro-atx-motherboard-mb-209-ms.html and I've just bought https://www.overclockers.co.uk/asus...ddr3-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-311-as.html to try and improve her Minecraft experience. I've plugged the card in, the machine posts ok but just then goes into a beep once every 2 minutes or so cycle.

Any ideas? Cheers

Might be worth flashing the latest BIOS for the motherboard (if it isn't already).

I had a blank screen when I went from a GTX570 to a 7970 on my last motherboard. Flashing the bios solved the problem.

Just tried that - went from v 1.3 to 1.5 et voilà!! Many thanks both
