New GPU WU

Just picked up a 10101 WU. It's not in any psummary list so FahMon doesn't know anything about it but it's taking 1' 14" per frame on my GTX260. I wish they wouldn't release new WUs without proper documentation but what else can you expect from bloody academics?

The last i read about gpu3 on stanfords site was it was in the last stages of testing with hopes of release early next year

is it just me or has anyone else noticed since these new WU's turned up there stat's have not been updating properly.

I've completed nine of the new WUs but I don't think any of them have been credited yet. As that's all I've completed today I can't tell if it's a general problem or just the new WUs.

Not gone any of those yet but my 5870 keeps gettin bad WU's and kicking out unstable machines all the time lately, plus my psu blew up in my other pc yesterday.. definitely some kinda conspiracy goin on!

I'm not getting anything else at the moment and they're a bit mean on the PPD. I'm down about 3500PPD between the two GPUs, compared with the 353 point WUs.

my 260 got some weird WU's the other day though. Temp shot up to like 95c, they didn't seen any different to the usual ones though.. same numbers and stuff. I just closed the client down, deleted the work and hoped it got a different one cos 95c is scary.

I'm back folding again after the Christmas break, santa treated me to 4x 353 pointers and one of these new ones

Right i have just got two of these and they are causing me grief, i cannot browse the internet when either GTX is doing one of these WU's as soon as i stop them from doing it i can browse again anyone else had this?

Edit: I have to shut down both of them to even load google something's not right

Just got two of these running on my GTX260s, seem to run a bit hotter than 353 (maybe 1/2/3 degrees max) I can use my PC the same as normal (sorry MI!) However not impressed with the PPD getting around 7K on each card.

I had one or two of the new ones. No performance issues that I noticed on my PC. Temps seemed about normal, maybe a little hotter but negligable either way. PPD does suck though. What are Stanford playing at? -.-

Have the stats sorted themselves out yet? I lost a good chunk of folding time this last week or so during the afternoons [that PC I bought on the bay had Crysis and Crysis Warhead - it also had Modern Warefare II on the HDD which I managed to transfer to my current rig!

Can't say I've noticed any particular change in temps with these and certainly no performance issues. PPD is considerably lower than the 353 pointers though - about 4,700 compared to 6,200 on my 8800GTX.

Deffo something wrong with these work unit's they kill my wifi

So i have stopped folding :eek:

My PC will now go into a not on state and I'll have to have the heating back on in here
