Hi guys,

I am in the middle of a new build (listed below) I was planning to drop in a 2070 super. Obviously thinking the new 3000 GPUs were going to be more expensive. After the announcement it now turns out I can afford to drop in the 3080 to get 4K 60 or more (happy days!).
But I’m wondering if it would work ok with the parts I have already purchased or if the new card even fits? Possibly a hard one to answer as the card is not out yet??
I was planning on the build last year but it had to be delayed due to funds going elsewhere.

current items are as follows:

  • Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz cl16 32GB. (Already purchased)
  • NZXT H510 Elite (Bought for me as a present).
  • NZXT C750 (Bought for me as a present)
  • NZXT Kracken X63 (Bought for me as a present).
  • X570 Tomahawk.
  • WD Black 1TB NVMe sn750 (not yet purchased).
  • Ryzen7 3700x (not yet purchased).
Monitor I already have 4K.

3080 (hopefully fits and works with the above)?

If anyone is curious, the parts bought for me we’re from the wife.....she’s a keeper lol

It’s my first PC build for gaming/work/multitasking/upload and some streaming, bit of an all rounder. I knew the 2070 super would fit and run well from other builds/reviews I have read/seen but I’m unsure if the 3080 would and would like advise before I complete the remaining purchases.

Any help/guidance appreciated, total rookie so please go easy if it’s a stupid question. Also the 3700x was selected due to funds remaining.

Yes sorry, thought it may be a stupid question. Just wanted to be 100% that I am not making any errors.
PSU is the NZXT C750. I was just wondering if fitment would work with the 3080, x63 and the chosen case.
I have checked dimensions online and it looks OK to me. I was just looking for reassurance really before making the outlay I guess. I get nervous spending this much cash when I know I have to build it myself and get it right.
