Hey everyone I was looking for some advice for my current build. I am looking to upgrade my gpu to the 7900xtx Sapphire however, I am not sure if my motherboard will be able to cope with that card under my current setup.

My Setup:

- Ryzen 9 3900x
- 2 x 32gb DDR4 sticks of ram
- RX 590 Graphics Card
- 512gb M.2 and a 2tb hardrive as secondry storage
- 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU

Any help is appreciated!

I don't see why not, but you'll need a strong PSU and decent case airflow to run a 7900 XTX. Depending on your needs (e.g. resolution/refresh) I'd consider a more modest upgrade, like a 6800 non-XT.

Spec for the Saphire 7900XTX gaming is

- 2x 8-Pin Connectors
- Cooler: 2.5 Slot
- 750W PSU Minimum
- 350W TDP
- Dimensions: 287x123.2x51.25mm/300*137*51.25mm (with bracket)

So should just about be ok with your case a PSU. (your case has 290mm clearence for GPU)

I would get a better case though with at least 2 front intake fans.

Like this for example.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £72.98 (includes delivery: £7.99)

Alright thanks for the info I understand it's better to get a new case but could I get away with it under my current case?

You could barely even fit an XTX in the case, if the max length stated on OCUK is correct. AIB cards are over 300mm and I'd prefer not to buy a reference/MBA card myself, due to shortened warranty and previous cooler issues.
