Hey Peeps ,

I currently have a 4070 super in my system and am running a Ryzen 9700X3d and 32gb Gskill on a 850wtt Power supply. I am not so good at working out Power Consumption but if i wanted to upgrade my GPU to a 5070Ti would i need a new PSU. Also can anyone recommend any 5070ti cards

Cheers

Nope you're fine with 850W.

As for recommendations I'm very happy with my Zotac Solid Core 5080 which was the cheapest model available from OC at the time.

I'm not sure a 4070 Super to a 5070ti will be the seismic jump you're expecting. I'd hold fire until the new Super cards are released early next year.

Yeah I'd hang tight for now. Moving to 50 series gets you better(?) DLSS with multi-frame gen but that's all really. The DLSS difference was amazing to me coming from a 30 series but your 4070 Super does all the DLSS-ing you really want.
A quick google tells me the 5070Ti is a 15~20% improvement over the 4070 Super. Notable, but those games that are dropping into the low 50fps region would just be holding 60fps with that upgrade - doesn't quite seem worth it.
