New graphic card and...

Overclockers told me that they expect to get that graphic card by the end of this year... But i found it in somewhere else

Or instead of GTX570 i could go for ScanFX HD 6970 AMD Radeon Graphics Card - 2GB, 1536 cores, core clock 880 MHz, memory clock 5500 MHz, which is faster and better, isnt it?

Btw does PCI version matters and it has to be compatible with your mobo?

The link I posted is not of a competitor its for comparison of hardware they do not sell anything its like anandtech just hardware comparisons of performance.

Also Overclockers wouldn't have to worry about competitors if they actually competed a little bit better by offering more competitive pricing and reducing the insanely high shipping costs...But I'm just saying.
 
I have upgraded cpu to q6600 (3.2ghz stable) and psu to ocz 700w stealthXstream 2, purchased coolmaster 212+ for cooling cpu and upgraded ram to 8gb

Now its about to choose a graphic card...

I only want to upgrade graphic card to play bf3, there is 2 months to go and i dont want to spend more than 300£, would be better if it would be about 250£ actually...

I was about to get GTX 580 bare oem but when i got home there were 0 in stock :( so now im thinking about getting GTX 570 or 6970... What would u advice me to get? I'm not in rush to get a graphic card because there is more than 2 months to go so maybe should i wait a bit and see if those graphic cards might get cheaper in some time? Or were there any news from nvidia or amd about new gpus generetion coming out soon?

comes with 2 bioses, 1 standard 6950 bios and 1 modified bios which may unlock the shaders no need to flash it yourself just flick a switch to change between the bioses.

I've ordered 2 to xfire them, they were £225 but the prices was sneakily raised several hours ago. I had them in the basket in the afternoon but didn't finish the checkout and come back to order the at 9pm and the price was up.
 
Ahhh, so does any1 think my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu? specs in sig? Sorry Michalux im not trying to hijack the thread, just in a similar situation.

Is it worth me getting a Sandybridge(1155) compatible MOBo and the newer processors, thinking i5 2500k or just get a quad core?
